While Tarot has a long and storied past, influenced by many groups of people, I acknowledge the fact that the Romani people have deeply influenced what the Tarot practice is today, and that they were, and continue to be, brutalized and discriminated against for such practices. I hope that I honor the Romani people and their ancestors in the way that I practice Tarot.
